Honda Atlas to temporarily shut auto plant for eight days

ISLAMABAD: In a recent announcement, Honda Atlas has disclosed its decision to temporarily close its auto manufacturing plant for a duration of eight days.

The plant closure is scheduled to commence from October 24 and extend until October 31. This decision was formally conveyed by the company to the Pakistan Stock Exchange via a written communication.

The primary reason behind this temporary shutdown is the scarcity of critical parts required for the manufacturing process.

In an official statement, the company cited the disruption in its supply chain as the underlying cause for this action.

As a result of the interrupted flow of necessary components, Honda Atlas has deemed it necessary to suspend operations at the plant until the parts supply issue can be effectively resolved.
