Ariana Grande Suggests 2026 Eternal Sunshine Tour Might Be Her Final Shows for a While

Ariana Grande has suggested that her 2026 Eternal Sunshine Tour may be her final run of live shows for quite some time.

The singer said she still enjoys performing but has recently been drawn to other creative work. She stressed that she is not ruling out touring again altogether, but hinted that it may be a long while before she returns to this scale of live performances.

The tour will be Grande’s first since the Sweetener World Tour in 2019. Over the past few years she has focused heavily on acting, earning an Oscar nomination for her role as Glinda in Wicked earlier this year. She is also promoting Wicked: For Good, which is due for release this week.

Speaking to Amy Poehler on her podcast, Grande said the next stage of her career could look very different from the last decade. She described her upcoming 2026 tour as a smaller, more intimate run of shows that means a great deal to her.

“I’m excited to do this small tour,” she said. “But I don’t think it will happen again for a long, long, long time. I’m going to give it everything. “That’s why I’m calling it my ‘one last hurrah’ for now.”

Grande explained that after spending so many years focused on pop music, she wanted to reconnect with the musical theatre and comedy she grew up loving. She said what feels right creatively at the moment is taking on projects that align with her instincts and sense of art.

The Eternal Sunshine Tour will begin across North America in June 2026, before she heads to London for a series of shows at The O2. The tour is expected to be noticeably smaller than her previous ones, which often exceeded 70 to 100 dates.

Fans will also have the chance to hear songs from her 2024 album Eternal Sunshine performed live, following more than a year of anticipation for tour news.
