Keanu Reeves’ Stolen Items Recovered and Returned by FBI

Keanu Reeves has been reunited with several valuable items that were taken from his Los Angeles home during a 2023 break-in, following confirmation from the FBI that the belongings have been successfully recovered.

The items were traced to Chile after an international investigation involving both US and Chilean authorities. Officials in Santiago located the belongings during a raid and later handed them over to federal agents. The FBI then arranged for Reeves to receive the recovered items during a meeting with both countries’ representatives in New York.

Among the possessions returned were six luxury watches, including a specially engraved Rolex Submariner valued at around 9,500 US dollars. The collection is estimated to be worth close to 125,000 dollars. Reeves is said to have sent a handwritten note thanking investigators for their cooperation throughout the case.

The burglary took place in December 2023 when intruders entered the actor’s Los Angeles property. Reeves was not at home at the time. Investigators later linked the theft to a network believed to operate across several South American countries.

Law enforcement officials said the movement of the stolen items across borders triggered federal involvement. The FBI noted that the case highlights how organised theft groups often work internationally and rely on complex routes to move high-value goods.

Reeves has not commented publicly on the latest update. He has continued with his work commitments while the wider investigation into the theft network remains open.
