Asia Cup 2025: Pak vs UAE live score

Pak vs UAE match finally started after match referee Andy Pycroft apologised to Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha and the team manager for instructing players not to shake hands during the toss of the Pakistan–India Asia Cup clash.

The PCB had earlier delayed the team’s departure in protest, demanding Pycroft’s removal from the Asia Cup panel. The dispute resulted in the one-hour delay of the Pak vs UAE match, with the toss rescheduled for 8pm Pakistan time and play starting at 8:30pm.

UAE score 100 for 7

The UAE have managed 100 for seven in their chase of Pakistan’s 146.

Alishan Sharafu made a brisk 12 off eight balls before falling to Shaheen Shah Afridi, while UAE captain Muhammad Waseem added 14 runs from 15 deliveries.

Rahul Chopra was the top scorer for the UAE with 35 runs off 35 balls, offering some resistance before being caught by Hasan Nawaz off Agha Salman.

Dhruv Parashar contributed 20 runs in 23 balls but failed to build a meaningful partnership, and other UAE batsmen struggled to accelerate against Pakistan’s attack.

Asif Khan and Harshit Kaushik were dismissed without scoring, while Haider Ali and Simranjeet Singh remained unbeaten on 1 and 0, respectively.

Pakistan’s bowlers shared the spoils, with Shaheen Shah Afridi and Abrar Ahmed taking key wickets.

Haris Rauf also made an impact, striking at crucial moments to keep the UAE under pressure.
