Asia Cup 2025 Super Fours: Bangladesh vs India face-off begins tonight
DUBAI: The 16th clash of the Asia Cup 2025 will take place tonight as Bangladesh and India face off in the Super Fours match at 7:30 PM
Bangladesh defeated
Finally Indian bowlers successfully crushed all of the Bangladeshi batters in the Asia Cup 2025 Super Fours.

During their time in the field, Indian bowlers claimed 8 wickets, but it was only Bangladesh’s top batter, Saif, who managed to hold his ground until the 17th over. However, Bumrah confidently dismissed him, paving the way for Tilak Varma to wrap up the innings by taking the final wicket. Tilak held his nerve and applied pressure to seal the finish for India.

Eventually, India secured their place in the final after defeating Bangladesh tonight. The final is scheduled for Sunday, September 28th. However, their opponent is yet to be decided after the second last Asia Cup clash between Pakistan and Bangladesh, taking place tomorrow.

Saif falls to Bumrah
From Bumrah to Kuldeep Yadav, all wreaked havoc, crushing 9 wickets of the Bangladesh XI in 18 overs.
“The most brilliant batter for Bangladesh was Saif, who unfortunately received no support from the other batters. He was eventually dismissed by the magical Bumrah, but not before scoring a superb 69 off just 45 balls for his side.

Three more wickets for India
Mohammad Saifuddin, Rashid Hossain and Tanzim Sakib all were claimed by experienced bowlers of the men in blue. The unfortunate lower order hardly managed only 6 by all before being downed.

100 comes up but Bangladesh in struggle
Bangladesh XI registered their first 100 runs in 14 overs as top batter contributed 65 off 45 balls. However, they have already lost 5 massive key wickets to Indian pacers and spinners which put the chase in a real struggle.

Huge blow for Bangladesh
Bangladesh scored just 65 for 4 wickets loss in total, with half of the innings already over.
Shamim Hossain went for a duck, leaving the team’s total in 75 runs in the 11th over.

From top batter Tanzid Hassan to middle order Jaker Ali, no player provided a supportive stay at the crease. Unfortunate Jaker was also downed in the 13th over after adding 4 for 5 deliveries to the team’s chase.

The Bangladeshi XI established momentum, with Saif and Emon each scoring 19 off 16 and 21 off 19 deliveries to increase the total to 46 with one wicket loss in 6.4 overs.
However, on the last ball of the over, Emon was crushed by Kuldeep Yadav. Emon powered Bangladesh to 46 runs in just 7 overs during his partnership with Saif.

First wicket for India
Bangladesh sent their top batters Saif Hassan and Tanzid Hasan in the opening, however they were unable face Indian star pacers. Tanzid Hasan lost to star pacer Bumrah, scoring only 3 off 5 deliveries in 1.3 overs. There came in Parvez Emon to provide an immediate support for position one batter Saif.

The Indian cricket team was under pressure from the very beginning as Bangladesh claimed five early wickets within the first 12 overs of the innings.
However, when Hardik Pandya contributed 29 runs off 22 balls after he came in to lead up the team’s total.
Lower order Axar Patel came in after another key wicket downed, providing a supportive stay to Pandya at crease.
Therefore, all-rounder Pandya managed a 29-ball 38 runs before being downed, with unbeaten Axar scored 10 off 15. Men in blue were able to make 164 runs in 20 overs.

Hardik Pandya came to support the Indian team as early four wickets were unexpectedly lost after Bangladeshi pacers spelled crushing deliveries. However, Pandya still remained desperate as team’s skipper Yadav (5 off 11) and Tilat Varma (5 off 7) were immediately downed by pacers Mustafizur and Tanzim each respectively. With his latest wickets, Mustafizur also became the team’s top wicket taker, totaling them to 150 wickets in T20I games.
