Asia Cup 2023: equipment installed for security of cricketers stolen

LAHORE: The wires of the CCTV cameras that were set up along the pathways for teams participating in the Asia Cup have been reported stolen.

The lights that were installed along the routes have also been stolen.

The manager of a private company, Malik Muhammad Abbas, has filed a complaint at the Gulberg police station.

The thieves have stolen wires and lights valued at 125,000 rupees, as stated by the applicant. The police have lodged a case against the culprits and have apprehended them.

Three One Day International (ODI) matches of the Asia Cricket Cup 2023 are scheduled to take place at Gaddafi Stadium from September 3 to 6.
