Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has announced a new campaign for the release of PTI chairman Imran Khan following a recent court decision.

Afridi visited Quetta Hotel in Islamabad’s F-6 sector, mingling with citizens and speaking to them directly. He said he had received a message from Imran Khan, signalling that the time to stay at home was over.

The chief minister revealed that a nationwide street movement is now underway. “Our team will visit every street, market, and neighbourhood to mobilise the people for this cause,” he said. A formal door-to-door campaign has also begun, following Imran Khan’s instructions.

Afridi emphasised that Imran Khan and his family have made sacrifices for the country, and it is now the responsibility of the citizens to support his release. He added that the movement will remain peaceful and aims to bring real change through public participation.
