STEWARTVILLE: The Stewartville high schools classes were cancelled for Friday, according to the initial reports immediately found from reading an email of Stewartville Superintendent Belinda Selfors who sent it to the students parents today.
The email by the Stewartville high schools superintendent mentioned that the Stewartville Schools are closed on 12, 2025.
For further information, the Post Bulletin has reached out to Selfors and the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office for more information.
The school closure took place as an emergency was reported at the high school, said the school officials.
The school officials did not provide any additional details to know what exactly took place here.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office said that deputies are at the Stewartville school and the Middle School to obtain further information.

It’s unclear whether that only applies to Stewartville Public Schools or additional locations, however sources said the final decision is weighing up on the gravity of the “critical incident.”
But at the same time, a post that was seen on social media platform Facebook was saying, “There is no threat to the students, staff or public at this time.”
