Ducky Bhai case: Interior secretary approves resignations of four officers

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Secretary has approved the resignations of four officers, including a deputy director in the case involving prominent YouTuber Ducky Bhai. The resignations are effective from November 20.

The officers who resigned from the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) include Deputy Director Sarfraz Chaudhry, Assistant Director Muhammad Usman, Assistant Director Shoaib Riaz, and Assistant Director Asma Majeed.

Last month, several NCCIA officers were arrested on allegations of taking bribes from Ducky Bhai and other social media influencers. The officers later submitted their resignations.

According to a report by the Anti-Corruption Circle Lahore, corruption cases were registered against eight NCCIA officers.

Among the eight arrested NCCIA officers were an additional director, a deputy director, assistant directors, and sub-inspectors, all of whom faced registered cases.
