Grimes has claimed that her former partner Elon Musk blocked her on his social media platform X amid ongoing co-parenting difficulties.

The singer, whose real name is Claire Boucher, made the allegation in a post on December 11 after a user asked why she no longer follows Musk online. The former couple share three children.

“For context I’m just living my life,” Grimes wrote. “He followed me then blocked me. I’m not going to be following and unfollowing. My only priority is co-parenting. I am not interested in public dramatics.”

Grimes has previously spoken openly about strain in her personal life, including earlier this year when she apologised to fans for cancelling a scheduled performance in Washington, DC, citing family issues.

“I am so sorry and regretful,” she wrote at the time, saying she was determined to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.

The musician has also used social media in the past to raise concerns about communication with Musk regarding their children. In February, she publicly urged him to respond to what she described as a medical issue involving one of their children, saying she felt compelled to address the matter openly after private attempts failed.

Musk has not publicly responded to Grimes’ latest claim. Neither party has commented further on the status of their co-parenting arrangement.

Grimes and Musk were in an on-and-off relationship for several years before separating. Despite their split, both have previously said they remain connected through their shared responsibility as parents.
