Has PCB suspended the contract of Multan Sultans?

WEB DESK: It appears that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has suspended the contract of Multan Sultans franchise owner Ali Tareen, sources say.

According to insiders, Tareen repeatedly violated the PCB’s code of conduct and attempted to tarnish the reputation of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He also reportedly made statements against the board on social media and mainstream media.

Earlier this month, Ali Tareen took to social media to share what he described as “hilarious PSL gossip,” claiming that officials had inquired about the performance rates of singer Jennifer Lopez. In a sarcastic post, the Multan Sultans owner criticised the priorities of those running the league, lamenting that there was “no work on team renewals, team additions, or improving the match-day experience,” while their focus seemed to be on “meeting JLo.”

He was also making fun of the recent graphic posted by the PCB announcing Shaheen as the ODI captain.

HUM News is currently trying to get the stance of both PCB and Ali Tareen.
