HUM Network signs MoU with Punjab Safe Cities Authority

LAHORE: HUM Network and the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration on public safety initiatives.

The signing ceremony was held at the PSCA office in Lahore. HUM Network CEO Duraid Qureshi and Punjab Police Inspector General Dr Usman Anwar signed the agreement.

According to a spokesperson for the Punjab police, Dr Usman Anwar welcomed the partnership with HUM Network.

The ceremony was also attended by PSCA MD Ahsan Yunus, Chief Admin Officer Amara Athar and COO Mustansar Feroz.

Speaking at the event, Dr Usman Anwar said that the agreement would enhance community policing, improve blood bank facilities, and strengthen initiatives for the protection of women and children.

He said that HUM Network would help in effectively communicating these initiatives to the general public.

HUM Network CEO Duraid Qureshi said under the MoU, a nationwide awareness campaign would be launched to highlight public service initiatives by Punjab Police.

The campaign would include awareness programs, advertisements, and digital campaigns on safe cities services, he said.

Qureshi said that HUM Network aims to promote every positive initiative in Pakistan, highlight the government’s achievements, and showcase the work being done under the Safe Cities project to a global audience.

He said HUM Network would play a more active role in awareness efforts to make the Punjab Safe City model a success.
