Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday to star in upcoming romantic comedy ‘Tu Meri Main Teri’

MUMBAI: Bollywood fans have reason to celebrate as Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures announce their latest romantic comedy, “Tu Meri Main Teri” (TMMTMTTM). The film is directed by Sameer Vidwans and penned by writer Karan Shrikant Sharma, with a stellar production lineup including Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Bhumika Tewari, Shareen Mantri Kedia, and Kishor Arora.

The movie will see Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday as the lead pair, promising fresh on-screen chemistry. Kartik plays Rehaan “Ray” Mehra, while Ananya essays Rumi Vardhan. The supporting cast includes seasoned actors like Neena Gupta, Jackie Shroff, Tiku Talsania, Aruna Irani, and newcomers, including Chandni Bhabhda and Lokesh Mittal.

Filming commenced in May 2025 and wrapped up on 30 October 2025, spanning 57 days of shoots in picturesque locations such as Croatia, Nawalgarh in Rajasthan, the Taj Mahal in Agra, and Mumbai. Cinematography is handled by the acclaimed Anil Mehta, promising stunning visuals to complement the rom-com narrative.

The film was officially announced by Karan Johar in December 2024, with Kartik Aaryan confirmed in the lead role. By June 2025, Ananya Panday was signed on to play the female protagonist. The ensemble cast also features Jackie Shroff as Rumi’s father and Neena Gupta as Ray’s mother, adding depth to the film’s family dynamics.

While the release date is yet to be officially announced, “Tu Meri Main Teri” is expected to bring lighthearted romance and comedy to the big screen, blending heartwarming drama with the trademark glamour of Bollywood.
