Justin Herbert injury update as Chargers monitor return
Herbert remains listed as questionable for the Chargers’ Monday night game against the Philadelphia Eagles after undergoing surgery for a broken bone in his left hand. The injury occurred in Week 13 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Chargers have said Herbert is progressing through recovery, though the team continues to evaluate his condition on a day-to-day basis. His availability has not yet been confirmed.
ESPN reporter Adam Schefter confirmed on December 7 that Herbert had officially been designated as questionable for the upcoming matchup. His status remains a key factor as the AFC playoff race tightens.
The Chargers face increasing pressure as the postseason approaches, with Herbert’s potential return likely to influence their performance through the final stretch of December.
