Terrorist attack on police mobile leaves five martyred

KARAK: A deadly terrorist attack on a police mobile in Karak has resulted in the martyrdom of five police officers. The attack occurred during a routine patrol by the police, leaving the officers in the vehicle vulnerable to a brutal assault by armed terrorists.

The terrorists launched a sudden attack, killing four policemen on the spot while another succumbed to his wounds later. In the aftermath of the assault, a heavy contingent of police forces swiftly surrounded the area and initiated a large-scale search operation to track down the attackers. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the attack, expressing deep regret over the loss of the brave officers’ lives. In a statement, Naqvi praised the sacrifices of the police personnel, saying, “The officers have set a great example of selflessness by sacrificing their lives in the line of duty. This attack on our security personnel is a clear barbarity by brutal elements who have no regard for human life.”

Minister Naqvi also reassured the nation, adding that the sacrifices of the martyrs would not be forgotten. “The state will respond with full force to ensure that those responsible for this heinous attack are brought to justice,” he stated.
