Pakistan beat Afghanistan in U19 tri-series

HARARE: Pakistan defeated Afghanistan in a thrilling encounter during the second match of the ongoing Under-19 tri-nation series in Zimbabwe. The match was decided in the final over.

Pakistan won the toss and chose to field first. Afghanistan was bowled out for 226 runs, with Usman Khan taking four wickets for Pakistan.

Chasing 227, the Green Shirts reached the target with three balls to spare, losing nine wickets in the process. Hamza Zahoor played a brilliant unbeaten 68, while captain Farhan Yousuf scored 65 runs.

At one stage, Pakistan was 9 wickets down for 201 runs, but a spectacular partnership between Hamza Zahoor and Naqab Shafiq secured a memorable victory for the team.
