LAHORE: In an unusual incident, two apples and a bottle of hand wash were stolen from the chambers of a Sessions Judge in Lahore. The theft, which has raised eyebrows due to its trivial nature, was reported to the Islampura police by reader Habib-ur-Rehman.

According to the complaint, the stolen items, valued at approximately Rs 1,000, were taken without any signs of forced entry.

Islampura police have registered a case and have passed it on to the Investigation Wing for further inquiry. Investigators are now looking into the matter, although the stolen items remain of low value. The theft is being treated seriously, as it occurred within a highly secure government office.

Police sources suggest that surveillance footage may be reviewed as part of the ongoing investigation.
