DUBAI: Bangladesh were bowled out for 121 in the second Under-19 Asia Cup semi-final, setting Pakistan a target of 122 to reach the final in Dubai.
Pakistan won the toss and opted to field first as rain reduced the contest to 27 overs per side.
Pakistan’s bowlers kept things tight from the outset, never allowing Bangladesh to build momentum. The Bangladeshi batting line-up collapsed under sustained pressure and was dismissed in 26.3 overs.
Abdul Subhan was the standout performer for Pakistan, claiming four wickets as Bangladesh struggled throughout their innings.
Pakistan will now back their batting to chase down the revised target and secure a place in the final.
Huzayfah Ahsan sent two batsmen back to the pavilion, while Ali Raza, Muhammad Siyyam, and Ahmad Hussain claimed one wicket each.
