Friday weather: PMD predicts extremely hot weather in the plains

WEB DESK: On Friday, the weather will remain hot and dry in most parts of the country, while the plains will be extremely hot, predicts Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

Going region by region, PMD said that in Islamabad and surrounding areas, the weather will remain hot and dry.

Likewise, the weather is expected to be hot and dry in most districts of Punjab, while it will be extremely hot in the southern districts.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, too, will get hot and dry conditions in most districts, with the plains remaining extremely hot. However, it will be partly cloudy in Kohistan and Swat, and areas closed to this region.

Sindh will sizzle along with most of the country as well, but strong and dusty winds are predicted for some areas in Sindh on Friday.

The weather will remain hot and dry in most districts of Balochistan, while the plains will be extremely hot, PMD said. However, some regions in Balochistan will also get strong winds. Moreover, light to moderate rain with strong winds and thunder is expected at a few places in Barkhan and its surrounding areas.

Kashmir, however, will remain partly cloudy on Friday, along with Gilgit-Baltistan.
