New SHOs appointed to eight police stations in Islamabad


The process of appointing new Station House Officers (SHOs) in eight police stations across Islamabad has been completed on Monday.

ISLAMABAD: The process of appointing new Station House Officers (SHOs) in eight police stations across Islamabad has been completed on Monday.

This move comes as part of efforts to enhance the efficiency of law enforcement in the capital city.

Sub-Inspector (SI) Haider Ali has been appointed as the new SHO of Nilore Police Station while Nawazash Ali will take charge as the SHO of Bani Gala Police Station.

Similarly, Khurram Shabbir has been posted as the SHO of Aabpara Police Station, and Asif Khan will assume the role of SHO at Police Station Ramna.

Mahbub Hasan has been appointed as the SHO of Margalla Police Station, while Inspector Sohail will serve as the SHO of Koral Police Station.

Gul Khan will take on the role of SHO at Sihala Police Station and Ashiq Khan has been appointed as the SHO of Sangjani Police Station.

These appointments aim to strengthen the law enforcement infrastructure and improve policing services in the respective areas.

As per the capital police, the new SHOs are expected to bring “fresh perspectives” and strategies to address the security challenges and concerns of the local communities.
