Thursday weather: hot, dry conditions and partly cloudy skies

WEB DESK: Hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country on Thursday. However, light to moderate rain with gusty winds and thundershowers is expected at a few places in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Central and South Punjab and North-East Balochistan.
Going region by region, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said that Islamabad and its surrounding areas will get hot and dry weather on Thursday. However, the skies might get partly cloudy during the day time.
Likewise, for Punjab, PMD said that hot and dry weather is expected in most districts of the province. Some areas might also receive light to moderate rain with gusty winds and thundershowers, including Mianwali, Bhakkar, Jhang, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Pakpattan, Okara, Khanewal, Multan, Bahawalpur, and Bahawalnagar.
Moving towards Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Thursday is predicted to bring hot and dry weather here too. However, Peshawar, Abbottabad, Swat, Dir, Malakand, Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Mansehra, Kohat, and Kurram will get strong, dusty winds today too.
Sindh’s weather will follow suit with the rest of the country with hot and dry conditions, and Balochistan too will remain hot. Some regions in Balochistan, Zhob, Musakhel, Barkhan and its surrounding areas might get light to moderate rain, with gusty winds and thundershowers, during the evening/night hours.
Kashmir, however, will remain partly cloudy with gusty winds and thundershowers at a few places. Gilgit-Baltistan will also remain partly cloudy with windy and possibly rainy weather.
