Asia Cup: India defeat Nepal by 10 wickets

ISLAMABAD: In a dominant display, India secured a comprehensive victory over Nepal, defeating them by 10 wickets in the Asia Cup Qualifier. Rohit Sharma contributed 74 runs, while Shubman Gill added 67 runs to the total.

India’s convincing win over Nepal has earned them to qualify for the Super Four stage of the tournament, while Nepal exits the event at this stage.

With this victory, both India and Pakistan have secured their places in the Super Four stage, where they are set to face each other on September 10.

Nepal managed to score 230 runs in 48.2 overs before being bowled out. Due to rain interruptions, India had a target of 145 runs in 23 overs, which they achieved without any loss in the 21st over.
