WWE Wrestlepalooza 2025: streaming details, match card and more

WEB DESK: WWE enters a new streaming era tonight as Wrestlepalooza becomes the first premium live event (PLE) available on the new ESPN Unlimited app in the United States. The September 20 event will be staged at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, marking both a major broadcast shift and the return of one of wrestling’s most storied names.

The switch to ESPN comes after WWE ended its Peacock partnership and also moved its flagship weekly show, Monday Night Raw, from USA Network to Netflix earlier this year. For international audiences, Wrestlepalooza will be available to stream on Netflix.

Start time and pre-shows

The main card begins at 6 p.m. CT, but WWE fans can tune in earlier for hours of buildup. A Road to Wrestlepalooza preview airs at 2 p.m., followed by a Countdown to Wrestlepalooza pre-show from 4 p.m. CT, both streaming on the ESPN app.

Match card highlights

The Wrestlepalooza card blends nostalgia with fresh rivalries.

CM Punk & AJ Lee vs. Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch: A mixed tag team main event pitting real-life spouses Punk and Lee against WWE champions Rollins and Lynch. Lee’s return marks her first WWE match in a decade.
John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar: Cena continues his farewell tour with one last showdown against longtime rival Lesnar, who hasn’t wrestled in two years.
Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Drew McIntyre: The Undisputed WWE Champion defends against the Scottish powerhouse.
The Usos vs. Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker: The twins reunite as a tag team for the first time since 2023.
IYO SKY vs. Stephanie Vaquer: A battle for the vacant Women’s World Championship.

Where to watch

In the U.S., Wrestlepalooza is exclusive to ESPN Unlimited and a promotional bundle including Disney+ and Hulu is also available at the same rate for the first 12 months. However, there is no free trial for the app. Subscribers to Hulu + Live TV, DIRECTV Stream, Fubo TV, Spectrum TV, and Verizon FiOS may already have access to ESPN Unlimited but must activate their plan through their MyDisney login. Wrestlepalooza will not be shown on Peacock, YouTube TV, or traditional pay-per-view.

Venue and significance

Gainbridge Fieldhouse, home to the NBA’s Indiana Pacers and WNBA’s Fever, plays host to WWE’s first Wrestlepalooza under its banner. Indianapolis already welcomed the Royal Rumble earlier this year at Lucas Oil Stadium, making 2025 a landmark year for the city’s wrestling fans.

The event revives the Wrestlepalooza name, last used by ECW in 2000, and marks WWE’s intent to expand global reach through ESPN’s digital platform.
